Vangelis and the screen I: 1963 - 1970

Vangelis has made several screen appeariances throughout the years. These you can divide into five catagories:

- Clips made to come with the music. Those clips are made to broadcast on television. In this list those promo movies are not included.

- Interviews. These are not included

- Documentaries.  Vangelis worked together with e.g. Frédéric Rossif, for educational documenatries. Those entries are included in this list.

In the interview made in Rome, just before the concert,  (1990) Vangelis told that the making of music for one programme took one day to complete.

- Advertisements. In this list you will find for example the anti-fur ad. This advertisement was used for television.

-  Movies. Even when he is not credited, or the production team used covers / snippets of music, this movie is included. It is impossible to provide a complete list. For  example,  how many times Chariots of Fire is used in movies is innummerable. The film “Bruce Almighty” is one of the examples.

I know that it is discussable wheater some entry is a clip, movie or something else, but for reasons of clearness I chose for this catagorisation. In some cases Vangelis isn’t credited, or his name is spelled incorrectly. In this list the exact name like it is credited, is given. If he is uncredited, a “-“ is stated.
